The Christine J. Neir Memorial Scholarship was established by
the Kirkland Heritage Society for the purpose of awarding an annual
scholarship to seniors attending either Lake Washington or Juanita High
School, to foster an interest
in the local history of Kirkland, and to provide an opportunity for high
school students to participate in historic Kirkland related activities.
